For both seminars, participation is free of charge for judges. \nThe first seminar is titled \u201cAdvanced Seminar on the EU Damages Directive\u201d and is taking place on 30 November & 1 December in Brussels (> See website). This seminar will deal, as the title indicates, with the EU Damages Directive and cover topics such as the Status of implementation of the Directive, private law aspects, economics and markets, economic principles of completion law and the calculation of damages. Moreover the seminar will provide tutorial sessions during which the participants will be actively involved.
\nThe second seminar is titled \u201cAdvanced Seminar on EU State Aid Law\u201d and is taking place on 4th and 5th December in Brussels (> See website). This seminar will begin by outlining the concept of State aid and then address the role of national courts and cooperation with the European institutions, further the dealing with illegal and\/or incompatible aid will be addressed.
\nFor both seminars, the participants will be actively involved in the seminar. The sessions will combine presentations, tutorial sessions and discussion on practical problems. Participants will have ample opportunities to present their own problematic issues and discuss them with the speakers and participants from other Member States.<\/p>\n
