Subsidiarität Nach Dem Vertrag Von Lissabon

European Union is a supranational organization that manages to act together within a powerful cooperation along with agreement although its member countries maintain their independent, sovereign and equal features and is the only example in the world. TheEuropean Union, established with the aim of peace settlement and economic cooperation, is today on the way of being aunited union in many areas such as political, social and cultural. Being a union brings about the problem of sharing delegation of authority between union and the member states. In this study, principle of subsidiarity, which is one of the principles regulating and restricting the use of authority, is discussed. It is aimed to give general information about the principle at issue, which is not new but got stronger after the Treaty of Lisbon, by explaining its historical roots, its place in international law and its legal nature.
