About the Journal

The Electronic Journal of Law (EJL) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually in June and December. Distinct from traditional university-affiliated publications, the EJL was founded in 2015 by a collective of independent academic lawyers dedicated to advancing legal scholarship.

The journal welcomes submissions across all areas of law. Adopted by academics and practitioners worldwide, the initiative pursues two primary objectives:

1. To foster a robust network connecting legal professionals, including academics, practitioners, and researchers.
2. To disseminate contemporary legal analysis and discourse within a rigorous academic framework.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the independent scholars who laid the foundation of this journal, as well as to our current and prospective contributors.
